Auntie has a lingo all her own. Here is a list of some commonly used phrases in Auntie’s world. ( to be supplemented)
Panning for Gold - cleaning the litter boxes. Mr. Big and Miss are very good about leaving Auntie nuggets of gold every day.
The Fun Spot - Auntie’s place of employment where she spends approximately 1/3 of Auntie’s waking hours chained to a desk.
Watering Hole - There is the AM watering hole (Dunkin Donuts- folks, Auntie runs on Dunkin) and the PM watering hole (Wood N Tap) for the occasional Marguarita or glass of Merlot after a tough day at the Fun Spot.
Rocket Booster – Auntie needs that boost daily and at approximately 7:45 AM each day or she is quite cranky, Extra Large FV (or Toasted Almond, if I’m feeling daring) light with milk and two Splenda.
